According to several sources, the next round of talks on the trade section of an association agreement between the EU and the Mercosur bloc (Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay), in Montevideo from 4 to 8 June, could be decisive for the conclusion of an agreement in principle this summer, ahead of the general elections in Brazil in October.
