European University Association condemns renewed attacks on universities and George Soros

17/04/2018 (Agence Europe) – In a press release on Tuesday 17 April, the European University Association (EUA) condemned "the recent intimidation of academics in the Hungarian media".  The pro-governmental magazine Figyelo listed the names of over 200 people, describing them as mercenaries of George Soros, the Hungarian-American philanthropist, who founded the Central European University (CEU) – which is a member of the EUA.  The list includes current and former members of CEU...
