Reduction in duty on sweetcorn imports from United States

16/04/2018 (Agency Europe) – On Monday 16 April, the Council of the EU decided not to make objection to a delegated act reducing the additional customs duty applicable to imports of US sweet corn from 4.3% to 0.3% as of 1 May.  The duty, which is in addition to the normal customs tariff, had been established in 2005.
