Commission carries out unannounced inspections concerning distribution of sports media rights

11/04/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 11 April, the European Commission confirmed that its teams had conducted unannounced inspections the day before in the premises of businesses active in the distribution of sports media rights and similar rights. Fox Networks Group was one of the entities in question. Several member states were included in these inspections, but these have not been named. The Commission had concerns that the companies in question had breached EU anti-trust rules...
