Copyright discussions at the European Parliament have taken a new twist. The day after the shadow rapporteurs’ meeting on Tuesday 27 March, rapporteur Axel Voss (EPP, Germany) sent out compromise amendments that tackle article 11 for the first time. These amendments support the creation of a neighbouring law for newspaper publishers and extends it to press agencies.
