The Greens/EFA group at the European Parliament acknowledges that since the Panama Papers scandal, progress has been made at European level in tackling tax evasion and tax fraud.
However, it has drawn up a number of recommendations to complete the procedure underway, with a few passing criticisms of member states that are hindering the tendency towards increased transparency and harmonisation of practices at European level.
