28/03/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 28 March, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini and Serbia's President Aleksandar Vučić agreed "to find new ways to continue working and resolving peacefully issues between Belgrade and Pristina". Mogherini spoke to Vučić, in Belgrade, the day after the arrest and expulsion from Kosovo of Marko Đurić (see EUROPE 11990). "What happened yesterday must not happen again", she said, according to a press release from the European External Action Service. "The European Union expects calm, wisdom, restraint and leadership to prevail", she added. Mogherini and Vučić agreed that it was in the national and state interest of Serbia to preserve stability, peace and to progress on the EU path. (CG)
