European Parliament committee's green light to EU-Norway agreement on strengthened agricultural trade

On Thursday 22 March, the European Parliament's international trade committee (INTA) gave its green light (with 30 votes in favour and one abstention) to the formal conclusion of the EU-Norway agreement on strengthened agricultural trade.  This agreement was sealed on 7 April 2016 (see EUROPE 11764) and the INTA committee's green light now needs to be confirmed in plenary in April.
