Member state vote on bee-killing neonicotinoid pesticides may only come in May

It came as no surprise on Thursday 22 March that member states did not vote on the European Commission proposal for a virtually total ban on three bee-killing neonicotinoid pesticides – thiamethoxam (made by Syngenta), clothianidin and imidacloprid (both by Bayer).
