On Friday 16 March, the European Commission published for economic operators a list of US products that could be subject to customs duties for import into the EU if the EU is not exempted from the customs duties introduced on 8 March by the US president, Donald Trump, which come into force on 23 March for imports of steel and aluminium into the United States.
