Sefcovic expects more of Austria in terms of energy efficiency and sharing decarbonisation efforts

On Wednesday 28 February, the Vice-President of the European Commission with responsibility for the Energy Union, Maros Sefcovic, began a two-day visit to Austria to meet the national authorities to examine the progress made by the country towards the EU's post-2020 energy and climate targets and to discuss its role in regional energy cooperation in central Europe as well as the use of Community funds to invest in clean energy projects.
