01/02/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 1 February, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini reiterated to Dragan Čović, Mladen Ivanić and Bakir Izetbegović, members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, "that it is on the political parties of Bosnia and Herzegovina to address electoral reform without further delay to ensure that this year's general elections are held and implemented according to international and European standards". The European External Action Service (EEAS) states that during their meeting in Brussels, Mogherini said that the member states expected Sarajevo to make the reforms needed to move toward EU integration. Mogherini and the political leaders of Bosnia and Herzegovina thus discussed the priorities for work, "in particular the completion of the answers to the questionnaire (see EUROPE 11687), as well as ensuring the continued and effective implementation of the reform agenda, including on rule of law".
