The College of Commissioners held an exchange of views on Wednesday 31 January on the long-awaited revision of the European drinking water directive and is preparing to kill two birds with one stone: improve water quality and respond to the citizens’ initiative “Right2Water”, insofar as it is able with powers being shared with the member states.
