Udo Bullmann assumes temporary leadership of S&D Group at European Parliament until 4 March

On Wednesday 31 January, the leader of the S&D Group at European Parliament, Gianni Pittella, announced that German social democrat Udo Bullmann would assume temporary leadership until Sunday 4 March, the date of the national elections in Italy.  Bullmann is currently vice chair of the Parliament's S&D Group and responsible for economic affairs.
