Eight new members appointed

29/01/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 29 January, the Council of the EU announced the appointment of eight new members of the European Court of Auditors. The members appointed on 1 March 2018 to 29 February 2024 are: Ms Bettina Michelle Jakobsen (Denmark), Mr Baudilio Tomé Muguruza (Spain), Mr Pietro Russo (Italy), Mr João Figueiredo (Portugal), Mr Hannu Takkula (Finland), Mr Tony Murphy (Ireland) and Ms Eva Lindström (Sweden).
