Enrique Millan Martinez to become new EUTM Mali Commander on 31 January

On Saturday 27 January, the EU Official Journal officially announced the appointment of Brigadier General Enrique Millan Martinez to the post of commander of the European Union’s EUTM Mali Mission from 31 January 2018.

His appointment was proposed on 24 October 2017 by Spain. The proposal was given the backing of the EU Military Committee on 5 December 2017.
