European shipowners welcome Commission proposal on port reception facilities

25/01/2018 (Agence Europe) – In a press release dated Tuesday 23 January, the European Community Shipowners' Associations (ECSA) welcomed the proposal for a revision of the directive on port reception facilities for the disposing of ship waste. This is part of the “plastics" strategy presented by the European Commission on 16 January last (see EUROPE 11940).
