Ireland must go back before the EU Court of Justice for a second time. This time, it risks having to pay heavy fines for failing to carry out a 2008 Court ruling (Case C-215/06) which had condemned Ireland for having built the Derrybrien wind farm without prior environmental impact assessment, the European Commission announced on Thursday 25 January.
