Bulgaria ordered to comply in full with 'electricity' and 'gas' directives of 2009

25/01/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 25 January, the Commission sent a reasoned opinion to Bulgaria, ordering it to implement Directive 2009/72/EEC, on electricity, and Directive 2009/73/EC, on gas, correctly, as several requirements of these directives have been improperly transposed by Sofia, for instance the ones concerning the separation of ownership (unbundling) of transport network and energy distribution managers.
