Approval process of EU-Vietnam free trade agreement delayed by translation problems

24/01/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 23 January, European Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström told the European Parliament's international trade committee that having undergone a long legal scrubbing, the text of the free trade agreement between the EU and Vietnam, concluded in December 2015 (see EUROPE 11444), was experiencing "delays at the level of its translation" into all languages of the EU.  "We hope that this will soon be over and that we will be able to present this...
