The Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU is relaunching discussions on privacy in electronic communications. In contrast to the work begun by Estonia, it has published a new document identifying the variety of options on the most controversial issues (data processing and privacy settings). This will help underpin the next workgroup planned for 17 January.
