New plant passport adopted

13/12/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 13 December, the European Commission adopted rules to harmonise the plant passport to improve the traceability of imported plants and plants moving around within the European Union. This is the first provision of new plant health regulations (see EUROPE 11456). From 14 December 2019, plant passports will be required to accompany all consignments of plants traded between professionals within the territory of the European Union....
