Successful launch of four new Galileo satellites

13/12/2017 (Agence Europe) – Four new Galileo satellites have been put into orbit with the assistance of the Ariane 5 ES rocket launcher from the Kourou launch site in French Guyana on Tuesday 12 December. This brings the total number of Galileo geo-localisation satellites from the European programme up to 22.
