Member states definitively reject indexing family benefits in context of Social Security system coordination

On Thursday, 7 December, ministers for social affairs adopted a partial general approach on two chapters of the regulation on the coordination of social security systems, family allowances and long-term-care benefits. The indexing of the family allowances to the place where the children resides was definitively rejected.
