Pollution-free planet is UNEA challenge, with EU backing, says Vella

With the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-3), entitled “Towards a Pollution-free Planet”, taking place in Nairobi from 4 to 6 December, the European Commission highlighted on Monday 4 December that the links between health and the environment are among the EU’s priorities, in line with the position agreed by the Council of the EU on 13 October last (see EUROPE 11883).
