30/10/2017 (Agence Europe) – The Hellenic Republic’s institutional creditors are due to return to Athens in the last week of November as part of negotiations on the launch of the third monitoring mission to the third Greek rescue package, European Commission spokesperson Annika Breidhardt announced on Monday 30 October. This next visit follows on from last week’s, during which “good, constructive discussions” on reforms took place, Breidhardt added. She also said that the goal of the creditors and of Athens was to finalise the third monitoring mission before the end of the year. Payment by the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) of an €800 million tranche of financial assistance on Thursday 26 October concluded the second monitoring mission (see EUROPE 11893). (LT)
