MEPs call on Commission to step up actions on retail financial services

10/10/2017 (Agence Europe) – Despite mixed support at the first exchange of views at the end of August (see EUROPE 11850), the own-initiative report by Olle Ludvigsson (S&D, Sweden) on the Commission's action plan on retail financial services was adopted at the European Parliament's committee on economic and monetary affairs (ECON) on Tuesday 10 October, by 46 votes to 8.
