Commission does not rule out participating in anti-Soros and anti-migrant public consultation

On Monday 2 October, European Commission spokesperson Margaritis Schinas said the Commission reserves the right to respond to the new public campaign launched in Hungary by the government of Viktor Orbán against American-Hungarian businessman George Soros.

"We are assessing the situation", Schinas stated, adding that the Commission would respond in due course.
