European Parliament advocates stronger political involvement in EU-India partnership

On Wednesday 13 September, MEPs advocated "stronger political involvement" from the EU and India "for a more dynamic and fruitful relationship as regards the challenges they must address at regional and international level".

The MEPs thus concurred with the report by Cristian Dan Preda (EPP, Romania) on the EU's political relations with India (520 votes in favour, 73 against and 86 abstentions) and underlined their "full adherence to strengthening and deepening" this partnership, which...
