EU, Argentina and Mongolia to launch global campaign against trade in instruments of torture

The EU, Argentina and Mongolia will launch a joint global initiative – the Alliance for Torture-Free Trade – on the sidelines of the general assembly of the United Nations in New York on 18 September to end the trade in goods used for capital punishment and torture, Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström announced on Thursday 7 September.
