EU General Court rejects French appeal over granting of €220 million in public aid to SNCM

06/07/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 6 July, the General Court of the EU found that certain measures adopted by France in favour of the shipping company SNCM in 2002 and 2006 for a total of €220 million constituted unlawful State aid with regard to EU law (cases T-74/14 and T-1/15) (see EUROPE 11355).
