Airlines for Europe calls for 'single till' system in European airports

30/06/2017 (Agence Europe) – In a press release issued on Thursday 29 June, the Airlines for Europe organisation calls for the introduction of a ‘single till’ system in all European airports.  The European Commission is currently evaluating EU Directive 2009/12/EC on airport charges.  The single till system makes it compulsory to deduct revenue from non-aviation activities such as catering from airport income before calculating the airport fee to be paid by consumers (which...
