PES party hails authorisation of gay marriage in Germany

30/06/2017 (Agence Europe) – The Party of European Socialists (PES) has welcomed the adoption by the German parliament of a law authorising gay marriage, making Germany the thirteenth EU member states to legalise marriages between people of the same sex.  In a press release, the PES said that it was playing a leading role in the WorldPride march in Madrid (a global gay pride event) where it is organising a major conference on LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual and...
