Parliament to set out measures to safeguard fisheries in Mediterranean

The European Parliament will, in Strasbourg on Monday 12, discuss measures to be implemented to save fish stocks in the Mediterranean and ensure the survival of fishing communities (see EUROPE 11774). The report by Marco Affronte (Greens/EFA, Italy) on fisheries in the Mediterranean will be put to the vote in plenary session the following day, according to the provisional Parliamentary timetable.
