On Wednesday 7 June, the presidents of the EPP and ALDE groups in Parliament, Manfred Weber from Germany and Guy Verhofstadt from Belgium, called for a special parliamentary committee to be set up on terrorism, in an effort to examine dysfunctions affecting information exchanges between member states.
