13/04/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 13 April, the 15th anniversary of the decision on the border delimitation between Ethiopia and Eritrea, the European Union called on all parties for full implementation of the decision of the Eritrea-Ethiopia Boundary Commission (EEBC). "The EU remains deeply concerned that the present stalemate continues to put regional stability at risk, with potentially negative implications on international peace and security as well as international trade, and hampers regional cooperation and development", High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Federica Mogherini stated. "The EU encourages all concrete steps that could lead to finally demarcating the border in accordance with the EEBC decision", she added. (AN)
