Government wants Tusk jailed for treason

21/03/2017 (Agence Europe) – After fighting a lone battle to prevent his re-election (see EUROPE 11742), the Polish government now says that, when he was prime minister of Poland (2007-2014), European Council President Donald Tusk committed a criminal offence after the Smolensk air disaster of 2010 in which the country’s president Lech Kaczynski was killed.
