GDP up by +1.7% in Eurozone and by +1.9% in EU in 2016

31/01/2017 (Agence Europe) – In the fourth quarter of 2016, seasonally adjusted GDP grew by +0.5% in the Eurozone and by +0.6% in the EU compared to the previous quarter, according to the preliminary flash estimate published by the statistical office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Tuesday 31 January. For the whole of 2016, Eurozone GDP grew by +1.7% and that of the EU grew by +1.9%. (MB)
