European Parliament elects its five quaestors for second half of legislature

18/01/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 18 January, MEPs in Strasbourg elected the five quaestors of the European Parliament for the second half of its legislature.  The quaestors manage administrative issues for MEPs.  The results of the vote were: Élisabeth Morin-Chartier (EPP, France), 459 votes (re-elected); Andrey Kovatchev (EPP, Bulgaria), 432 (re-elected); Vladimir Manka (S&D, Slovakia), 332; Catherine Bearder (ALDE, UK), 313 (re-elected); Karol Karski (ECR, Poland), 213 votes...
