18/01/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 18 January, the Court Justice of the EU upheld (case C-623/15 P) the judgements of the General Court of September 2015 on the fines handed down by the European Commission to the participants in the cartel on cathode-ray tubes for television sets (CRT) on the European market (see EUROPE 11385). In so doing, the Court rejected the appeal brought by Toshiba and upheld fines of more than €82 million imposed jointly on Toshiba and Panasonic/MTPD. (JK)
