Commission not combating food waste effectively say the European Court of Auditors

Despite the political importance being attached by the EU institutions to tackling food waste, the European Commission is not addressing this evil effectively and its level of ambition has only decreased over recent years, states the Court of Auditors (CoA) in a highly critical report on Tuesday 17 January.
