Israel says planned €5.2 billion gas pipeline to Cyprus and Greece is feasible

As reported by serveral media on Thursday 27 October, a submarine pipeline, EastMed, to supply Europe (Cyprus, Italy and Greece) with Israeli and Cypriot natural gas would cost €5.2 billion ($5.7 billion) to build, according to the results of a feasibility study by the project’s promoter, IGI-Poseidon (an Italo-Greek consortium), which have been unveiled by the Israeli energy and infrastructure ministry.
