Republic of Guinea removed from list of countries facing sanctions for illegal fishing

The Council of Ministers of the EU adopted a decision, without debate, on Monday 10 October, lifting the trade sanctions imposed on the Republic of Guinea at the end of 2013 for failing to do enough to eradicate illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
