10/10/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 10 October, the European Commission approved the envisaged state guarantee by Greece in favour of Greek Attica Bank to support the bank's access to liquidity. Attica Bank plans to issue bonds that can serve as collateral for Eurosystem financing operations. The Commission considers that the measure is targeted, proportionate and limited to its scope of application and appropriate time frame. (EL)
