By request of France, the European finance ministers will on Tuesday 11 October discuss the proposed reform to finalise the Basel III framework on the table of the Basel Committee.
This reform, to be finalised by the end of 2016 before being transposed into European law, aims to reduce the exposure of the banking sector to risk.
