Speaking in Vienna, Merkel highlights return of illegal immigrants and readmission agreements

During a meeting of several European leaders in Vienna on Saturday 24 September regarding migration and the Western Balkans route, the German chancellor, Angela Merkel, insisted that the European Union should intensify its fight against illegal immigration by increasing the number of agreements for sending back illegal immigrants and those who have had the right of asylum refused.
