Commission denies any interference in  French 'YouTuber's' interview

19/09/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 19 September, the European Commission formally denied that it had exercised any pressure on Laetitia Birbes, a French "YouTuber" who interviewed Jean-Claude Juncker the day after the Commission president's state of the Union Speech. According to his spokesperson, Margaritis Schinas, Juncker was "annoyed" by what he judged to be a pointless controversy but "clearly and categorically" rejected any insinuation of the Commission having indirectly...
