Commission's guidelines to manage impact of financial crisis on banking sector are valid

Brussels, 19/07/2016 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 19 July, the Court of Justice of the EU upheld the guidelines laid down by the European Commission in 2013 on State aid for support granted to banks in the context of the financial crisis, in particular taking the view that the provisions on burden-sharing were compatible with EU law.
