Brussels, 06/07/2016 (Agence Europe) - In a joint resolution passed on Wednesday 6 July by the comfortable majority of 597 votes to 73, with 38 abstentions, the European Parliament called on the European Commission and the member states to give careful consideration to combining structural and investment (ESI) funds with the Horizon 2020 framework programme for research and innovation in order to enhance synergies.
