Last week at the end of a public hearing, French Christian Democrat, Jean-Paul Gauzès, a former MEP, was appointed President of the European Financing Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG). This is a private association that brings together stakeholders and national organisations that seek to become the "European voice" in accounts reporting.
